5 Steps to a Straighter, More Confident Smile
SureSmile clear aligners from SouthWest Dental offer a convenient treatment option for straightening your smile.
Step 1
Book Your First
Consultation
We will begin by examining your teeth and bite to determine if SureSmile is right for you. Next, we will take photographs and impressions of your smile and explain what it could be like with SureSmile treatment.
Step 2
Develop a Custom
Treatment Plan
Based on the decisions made in your initial consultation, we will map out a precise SureSmile treatment plan. Your plan will include the exact movement of your teeth that will occur with each set of aligners.
Step 3
Begin Your
Treatment Plan
We will produce a series of custom SureSmile aligners just for you. Wear your aligners every day for 20-22 hours as prescribed, and your aligners will gradually shift your teeth into their desired positions.
Step 4
Switch Your Aligners
Every Two Weeks
Approximately every 2 weeks, you will switch to the next set of clear aligners. You will also have brief checkups with your dental team – every six weeks or so – to review your progress.
Step 5
Maintain Your
Straight New Smile
It's an exciting day when you reach the end of your treatment! During your final appointment, we will discuss next steps, and prescribe retainers to keep your teeth in their new positions.
